Delivery Driver

Job Title: Local Delivery Driver

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (or until tasks are completed).

Pay Rate: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join its team in South Salt Lake. The primary responsibility of this position is making local deliveries of oil, lubricants, automotive products, and related supplies to commercial and industrial customers throughout the area.

This position will primarily operate a non-CDL box truck, making it a great opportunity for someone with delivery, warehouse, route driving, or similar experience who enjoys being on the road and working directly with customers.

When not making deliveries, this person will assist with general warehouse duties, including preparing orders, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and helping keep the warehouse running efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate a non-CDL box truck to make scheduled customer deliveries
• Load and unload oil, lubricants, automotive products, and other customer orders
• Verify orders before leaving the warehouse and ensure customers receive the correct products
• Follow assigned delivery routes and complete deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers
• Obtain required signatures and complete delivery paperwork accurately
• Assist with picking, staging, and preparing orders for delivery
• Help receive incoming shipments and organize warehouse inventory
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow company safety procedures when handling and transporting products
• Assist the warehouse team with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a clean/acceptable driving record
• Comfortable driving a box truck and making multiple deliveries throughout the day
• Previous delivery, route driving, warehouse, or similar experience preferred
• Ability to safely load, unload, and move products throughout the workday
• Comfortable performing a combination of driving and physical warehouse work
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to accurately follow delivery instructions and complete paperwork
• Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus
• Experience working with automotive, industrial, oil, lubricant, or similar products is helpful but not required
