Delivery Driver/Warehouse M-F 5am Start (For Hire Required) $21-22hr

We are a specialty snack food and drink distributor to schools across the state of Indiana.  Being a family owned company we value the importance of our employees and customers. Our success is due to the efforts of our hard working employee team. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our delivery team.  (For Hire/Chauffeur License & DOT Physical REQUIRED)

Basic Job Functions include:

-Quickly and safely deliver food and drink products to schools on an established route using a 2 wheel hand cart, work in our  warehouse to stage delivery routes, load trucks, verify order counts, pickup product at vendor locations and complete necessary paperwork for all aspects of the job needed.

-Safely operate a 26ft straight box truck, 16ft city van, and cargo van.

-Preform other duties as needed and assigned.

-Previous route delivery a plus

Required Qualifications :

-MUST have a Valid Indiana "For Hire/Chauffeur License" - Applicants without will not be evaluated

-MUST have MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) within established company guidelines

-MUST have or be able to pass DOT physical, drug screen, drivers insurance screening, and criminal background check

-MUST be able to read, write, and speak English

-MUST be able to lift 50lb on a repetitive basis, using a 2-wheel hand cart to make deliveries

-MUST be able to preform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and turning

-MUST be able to take customer delivery directions, be genial & courteous at all times (you are the face of our company)

-MUST wear company provided uniforms and be presentable at all times

-MUST be able to arrive prior to 5am and complete delivery route in timely fashion adhering to safe driving standards

-This position is a Seasonal Aug - May (school year) position

Compensation and Benefits:

-Hourly Pay with overtime after 40hrs per week, PTO (Sick/Personal & Vacation) - pay subject to qualification & background
