Delivery Efficiency Manager

Dover and Florida

Your role in our success:

The Delivery Efficiency Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of all Scheduling Logistics Specialists/Dispatchers, telemetry, and AI analytics. This role oversees and optimizes end-to-end delivery logistics to ensure safe, efficient, and timely product delivery while driving consistency, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The manager provides direct leadership to dispatch teams, establishes standardized dispatch processes, and partners closely with field leadership to enhance routing efficiency, driver productivity, regulatory compliance, telemetry (tank monitor) operations, and customer satisfaction.

What youll be working on:

  • Oversee and lead all dispatch functions across regions, ensuring consistent execution of dispatch standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Direct daily delivery logistics, including routing, scheduling, load planning, and real-time operational adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety requirements, and company operational procedures.
  • Manage, coach, and develop dispatcher teams, establishing clear performance expectations, accountability, staffing plans, and training programs.
  • Drive route efficiency, delivery optimization, and cost control through process improvements and effective use of dispatch and routing systems.
  • Standardize dispatch processes, workflows, and operating procedures to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Develop relationships with tank monitor vendors, administrative support, and financial teams to minimize errors and downtime while improving overall delivery efficiency.
  • Develop, analyze, and report KPIs leveraging AI analytics to improve delivery and dispatch operations, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Field Leadership, Customer Care, Sales, and Maintenance teams to align delivery execution with business and customer needs.
  • Monitor operational performance and proactively address service interruptions, resource constraints, and customer-impacting issues.
  • Support emergency response planning, peak season execution, and continuous improvement initiatives across delivery operations.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Who you are:

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Equivalent experience of 5+ years may be considered.
  • 3+ years of operational logistics experience.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Propane and/or service industry experience preferred.
  • Valid state drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
  • CDL preferred.
