Military veterans are welcome!General ResponsibilitiesMain objective: Safe, Prompt, & Accurate Deliveries.Support Drivers on the road.Always be willing to take necessary action to support the safety and success of the route.Ensure the proper tools are present in the vehicle before departure, including gloves, masks, hand truck, safety box cutter, and hand tools.Be aware if the Driver is becoming distracted.Actively scan the road for potential hazards such as pedestrians, wires, tree limbs, animals, and other dangerous scenarios.Engage with the Driver regularly to track upcoming stops and any hazards on the route.Review the manifest to be conscious of where and when Scheduled Deliveries (SD) fall along the route; prepare for In‑Home Services deliveries by alerting the Driver when pre‑calls should be placed and if the route needs adjustment.Ensure a walk‑the‑path occurs before a service delivery to prevent slips, trips, falls, or property damage.If the Driver appears compromised and is not capable of continuing, identify this, notify DSP, request the Driver pull over at the next safe location, and contact Delivery App.When organizing packages in the cargo area, ensure the lift gate is extended to allow additional walking room and minimize the risk of falling off the truck.Do not lift packages over 50 lbs or manually maneuver packages over 85 lbs alone. Use team lift for packages up to 100 lbs and hand trucks or shoulder straps for packages over 100 lbs.Perform Get Out And Look (GOAL) when the Driver is maneuvering through a blind spot or reversing.Act as a Spotter when performing a backing maneuver, communicating with the Driver through hand signals and verbal cues.Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.Communicate effectively with the support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.Use smartphone devices for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members.Receive bonuses for excellent performance and safe driving.RequiredAll drivers must be at least 18 years old.Authorized to work in the United States.Must know how to use a smartphone (multiple apps used to perform day‑to‑day responsibilities).PreferredPrevious delivery experience (e.g., Postmates, DoorDash, Flex).Bilingual.Location5670 Kearny Mesa Rd, San Diego, CA92111BenefitsPaid time off.Referral program.Health benefits.Schedule10‑hour shift.Holidays.#J-18808-Ljbffr
