Job Summary
Great Bend Appliance Center is looking for a Delivery & Installer to join our team! As a part of the Delivery Crew, you are a key member of the team! You are responsible for delivering and installing household goods in the homes of our customers. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, professional, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.
 
Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Disassemble appliances and furniture to take into homes
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
• Must be able to deliver appliances and furniture into homes
• Help Maintain Warehouse Organization

 
Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 1 Year delivery driving experience recommended
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck, and truck, express van
• Mechanical Abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
• Must pass a background check
