Job Title: Delivery Lead Customer Transformation (Integrations & API Delivery)

Location: Hybrid/Remote (Travel as Required)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to support a large-scale Customer Transformation Program focused on modernizing customer platforms through enterprise middleware, APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven integrations. This role will lead the day-to-day coordination and execution of multiple cross-functional delivery teams responsible for building integrations between customer-facing and enterprise applications.

The Delivery Lead will serve as the operational leader for the integration workstream, ensuring work progresses efficiently from solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production readiness. This individual will proactively identify and remove delivery bottlenecks, coordinate dependencies across multiple teams, and provide regular status updates to project leadership. The role works in close partnership with the Delivery Manager to ensure successful execution of the integration program.


Project Overview

This enterprise-wide Customer Transformation initiative is modernizing customer operations by implementing middleware, APIs, cloud-native applications, and event-driven integrations connecting numerous enterprise systems. The Delivery Lead will coordinate multiple technical teams delivering integration solutions across Azure, MuleSoft, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Apache Kafka, and other enterprise technologies while ensuring delivery milestones, quality standards, and project timelines are achieved.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination of multiple integration and API delivery teams supporting a large-scale customer transformation initiative.
  • Drive work execution from solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production readiness.
  • Identify, manage, and remove delivery bottlenecks, risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies to maintain project momentum.
  • Coordinate closely with the Integration Delivery Manager to align priorities, delivery plans, resource allocation, and project objectives.
  • Facilitate daily team coordination, sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and delivery reviews within an Agile environment.
  • Track the progress of user stories, technical tasks, defects, and milestones, ensuring work flows efficiently across development teams.
  • Manage and maintain Jira boards, epics, user stories, tasks, defects, and reporting to provide accurate delivery visibility.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, risks, dependencies, and key performance metrics during project governance and stakeholder meetings.
  • Coordinate activities between solution architects, developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards, project timelines, and organizational governance requirements.
  • Monitor project scope, schedule, resource utilization, and dependency management across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Support release planning, deployment readiness, and production transition activities in collaboration with technical leadership.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across distributed delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience leading technology delivery, software implementation, or enterprise integration projects.
  • Proven experience coordinating Agile software development teams delivering enterprise integration or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of API development, middleware technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams, project schedules, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Agile delivery using Jira, including backlog management, sprint tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience facilitating executive-level project status meetings and communicating delivery progress to leadership.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining focus on delivery quality and timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve delivery obstacles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise Customer Transformation or Digital Transformation programs.
  • Experience delivering integration solutions involving:
    • MuleSoft
    • Microsoft Azure
    • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
    • Apache Kafka
    • REST APIs
    • Event-Driven Architecture
  • Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD delivery processes.
  • Utility or energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Scrum Master, Agile, PMP, SAFe, or related project management certifications are a plus.
