JOB DESCRIPTION
The Delivery - Lead Consultant is responsible for leading complex, customized and comprehensive engagements to ensure project profitability, success, and client satisfaction. These activities include supervisory and management responsibilities for internal teams and project resources. This role is a senior-level customer-facing consulting position responsible for project success and business growth. As a seasoned project manager, this role will be assigned to Apex projects that may be highly complex, large, highly visible and/or otherwise require advanced project and people management skills, advanced financial and risk management skills and Consulting proficiency.
Reporting to a Capability aligned Delivery - Practice Director, this position is highly collaborative, as Apex Engagements require participation and collaboration from a variety of different roles within Apex and the client, and Delivery - Lead Consultant must be able to successfully navigate these relational and operational complexities. The Lead Consultant role involves client relationship building, executive level communications, presentations, reviewing and monitoring quality of client deliverables, supervising project teams, and scoping and estimating new projects. In addition to directly supervising delivery Practice employees, this role also leverages their skills and experience to contribute towards developing, mentoring and supporting the growth of other entry level through midcareer professionals within the Delivery Practice.
