Job Description

Our client is looking for an accomplished Delivery Manager with a strong background in application development and fixed‑bid project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing complex, multi‑project engagements, with the ability to deliver programs on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Experience working with public sector clients is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of fixed‑bid application development projects
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps
• Manage project budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies in fixed‑price environments
• Apply and adapt project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders
• Ensure clear communication, timely reporting, and successful project governance
• Identify and resolve delivery issues proactively to ensure successful outcomes
• Support compliance with contractual requirements, governance standards, and reporting obligations

 Required Qualifications

• 15–20 years of overall professional experience
• 10+ years of project management experience, including fixed‑bid project delivery
• Strong background in application development projects
• Proven experience managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field

 Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Public sector project experience
• Experience in consulting or professional services organizations
• Understanding of public sector compliance and procurement processes
• Exposure to full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
