Job Title: Software Testing Lead Designation: Test Lead Location: Mph-Chandler Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Lead to join our dynamic software testing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Playwright, a modern testing framework, and will be responsible for leading testing initiatives to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities: Lead the software testing efforts, including planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities. Develop and implement test strategies and test plans that align with project requirements and timelines. Utilize Playwright to create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution. Conduct regular reviews of test cases and test results to ensure adherence to quality standards. Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices for software testing and automation. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and automation tools. Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright for automated testing. Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, both manual and automated. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Experience in performance testing and security testing. Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python. Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead testing efforts and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
