Summary

The Delivery Operations Print Production Level 2 is responsible for supporting document production, finishing, and equipment operations to meet customer requirements and service level expectations. This role manages print production workflows, operates high-volume production equipment, maintains office equipment and supplies, and delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of production requests.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, review, log, schedule, and track customer print production requests.
  • Operate high-volume printers, copiers, scanners, and document finishing equipment, including paper cutters, laminators, inserters, hole punchers, and folding equipment.
  • Perform document assembly, finishing, packaging, labeling, and shipping of completed jobs.
  • Conduct quality inspections before, during, and after production to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Prepare, sort, scan, convert, and index hardcopy and electronic documents for print and digital distribution.
  • Inspect production files for formatting, image quality, fonts, and other output requirements.
  • Integrate variable data into print templates and perform file conversions using standard software.
  • Apply asset tags, maintain equipment inventories, and coordinate equipment moves, additions, and changes.
  • Perform routine operator maintenance, clean equipment, collect meter reads, and coordinate service requests when needed.
  • Maintain production records, billing logs, and job archives for future reuse and file backup.
  • Manage inventory of production supplies and distribute materials as required.
  • Provide basic training and support to end users on print equipment operation.
  • Travel between customer locations using a personal vehicle to support operational needs.
  • Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to ensure timely job completion.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary technology training or related experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or print production environment.
  • Experience operating production printers, copiers, scanners, and document finishing equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create spreadsheets, apply formulas, sort and filter data, generate graphs, and move data between Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong computer skills, including file management, email, web browsing, network printing, and data entry.
  • Basic knowledge of printer connectivity, printer configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages, multiplication, and division.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and ability to travel locally between customer sites as required.
