Position Overview
Under the direction of the Senior Delivery Manager, the Warehouse & Delivery Supervisor is responsible for shipping & receiving in the warehouse, inventory control and scheduling customer deliveries in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position includes supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
- Request and Receive product shipments and maintain inventory controls
- Pick and stage next day deliveries
- Pick, stage and transfer weekly store merchandise
- Maintain acceptable quantities of stock product
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by routinely sweeping, removing trash and keeping materials organized
Delivery Scheduling:
- Call customers to schedule delivery and installation of product for retail and commercial
- Accurately maintain schedule of deliveries in Outlook and Iridium
- Print delivery orders to prepare for picking of items in warehouse
- Close out daily delivery tickets
Leadership Duties:
- Train and mentor new staff on proper material handling and safety precautions.
- Train staff on the proper building techniques and paperwork documentation needed on installations
- Train staff on how to properly present equipment to customers in their homes
- Maintain delivery trucks, reporting any issues and making sure preventative maintenance is completed
- Schedule staff to provide coverage to meet customer demands and accurately review and approve timecards.
- Ensure all other employee training is documented and up to date as necessary for compliance
- Provide clear and concise directions and expectations to staff
- Responsible for staffing, terminations, disciplinary actions, training, and developing subordinates
- Responsible for completing adequate performance documentation on time.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy of timecards and approving them in a timely manner.
Maintain Best Work Practices:
- Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees, customers, owners and vendors.
- Understand and follow all safety policies.
- Punctual: begins work on time and returns from lunch and breaks on time
- All paperwork and database entries filled out completely and accurately
- Promote a positive team atmosphere with co-workers

Requirements
Education:
- High school degree or equivalent is required
Experience:
- Forklift driving certification required as applicable
- Prior experience in warehouse operations required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with good driving record required
- Basic computer skills required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook required
