DELTA DENTAL: Senior Quality Engineer (Automation)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Core Java, Selenium, and industry-standard automation tools.
• Develop and execute automated API test suites using Rest Assured and validate RESTful microservices.
• Create and maintain functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test automation suites.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Execute test plans, analyze test results, identify defects, and drive resolution through closure.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
• Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL queries.
• Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, defect triage, and release readiness activities.
• Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices across teams.
