    Now Hiring: Demand Analyst
    Taylor, MI | Full-Time | Exempt

    Oakwood Group is looking for a data-driven, analytical Demand Analyst to join our MP&L team. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy turning data into actionable insights, this is your opportunity to make an impact on our supply chain performance.

    What You’ll Do

    As a Demand Analyst, you will play a critical role in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

    Analyze historical data, market trends, and statistical models to forecast product demand
    Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments
    Track forecast accuracy across customers, products, and programs
    Lead demand & supply review meetings and support S&OP processes
    Develop and maintain KPIs (forecast bias, variability, value-added)
    Identify capacity constraints and implement action plans
    Drive process improvements across scheduling, logistics, and inventory management

    Collaboration & Impact

    You’ll work cross-functionally with:

    • Customer Service & Account Management
    • Scheduling, EDI, and Logistics Teams
    • Engineering, Operations, IT, Finance, and Purchasing

    You’ll also build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure business alignment and success.

    What You Bring

    Experience & Education:

    • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a business-related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 3–5 years of demand planning/forecasting experience in automotive manufacturing (Tier 1 or Tier 2 preferred)

    Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (IQMS preferred)
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills

    Bonus:

    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
