Rather than traditional forecasting, this position focuses on synthesizing business plans, identifying trends, and communicating actionable recommendations that influence strategic decisions.
Job Description
Analyze sales, planning, and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Develop executive-ready presentations and business reviews that translate data into clear, actionable insights.
Partner with Global Sales, Geography Sales Planning, Finance, and cross-functional teams to align business priorities.
Support monthly and quarterly planning cycles by coordinating inputs, timelines, and deliverables.
Build compelling narratives that help leadership understand business performance and strategic direction.
Validate data accuracy, reconcile reporting discrepancies, and resolve data issues across teams.
Lead Bookings Report processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Create visual reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
Coordinate planning activities across a matrixed global organization while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Support continuous process improvements and planning execution.
Required Skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning, merchandising, analytics, business analysis, or a related field.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to transform complex data into meaningful business insights and executive presentations.
Experience creating presentation decks for business leaders.
Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience preparing and presenting business reviews.
Preferred Skills
Experience with AI tools.
Tableau experience.
Retail planning or merchandising experience.
Knowledge of retail KPIs such as Retail Sales, Sell-Through, Receipts, and Bookings.
Previous experience as a Demand Planner, Merchandise Planner, Merchant, or Business Analyst.
