Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field

Ideal Candidate: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Planner role within a Manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain Process, the ability to lead meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams, experience with S4 HANA (Preferred), OMP (Preferred), and SAP-IBP (Preferred), strong analytical skills, strong Excel (advanced formulas, etc) and strong multi-tasking abilities.

Position Description:

The Demand Planner, Mobility, supports Axalta's APC business in North America by serving as the voice of the customer and driving demand, supply, and inventory decisions. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and other business functions to ensure accurate demand planning, timely execution of new business opportunities, and effective inventory management. The individual will support key planning processes, maintain critical data, and provide functional guidance across multiple workstreams.

Principal Responsibilities:

Demand Planning & Forecast Management:
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts in SAP-IBP for the Mobility portfolio using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and identify drivers of variance; recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales to obtain timely, accurate, and organized demand inputs.
  • Partner with Scheduling and Supply Chain to align demand plans with capacity, inventory, and service requirements.
  • Support S&OP processes through preparation of demand reviews, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise demand insights to leadership, using context to explain trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain data integrity across planning systems and ensure timely updates to demand-related information.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, build models, and support decision-making.
Product Life Cycle Planning:
  • Work with Product Management to understand strategic priorities, portfolio changes, and customer requirements.
  • Manage product life cycle transitions, including new product introductions, phase-outs, and portfolio changes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce inventory while maintaining service levels

KPI Management & IBP Support:
  • Manage Supply Chain KPIs including Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, and Non-Productive Inventory.
  • Support the IBP process for the North American Mobility markets, including service levels, production schedule performance, inventory strategy, demand planning, and supply planning.
  • Track KPIs, prepare presentations, and present insights as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in a planning function within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and communicate insights effectively to leadership.
  • Ability to lead meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, including data analysis and modeling
  • Experience with S4 HANA, OMP, and SAP-IBP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions independently.
  • Ability to manage complexity, balance multiple priorities, and resolve conflicts.
  • Demonstrated ownership and leadership capability while working effectively as part of a team
