Job Purpose

The TB Demand Planning Associate is a role with responsibility of inputting, monitoring, adjusting, and managing Hankook Tire Truck & Bus replacement overall forecast for US subsidiary. This implies coordinating with our Global demand planning team, analyzing market intelligence, historical sales demand, segment trends, and customer forecasts. This role is expected to effectively estimate future tire demands based on research and available information with relatively accurate results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop tire demand forecast for all TB segments taking into consideration various distribution center’s needs.
  • Load demand in global demand planning system
  • Supply a daily TB Inventory Report
  • Work with regional sales directors on enhancing their demands.
  • Review historical sales, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and continuously.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customers to better understand demand forecast drivers and changes
  • Utilize a consensus approach of working with sales, marketing and customers to obtain current and accurate data that drive demand forecasts
  • Become an expert user of the current forecasting software and continuously look for enhancements that could improve results and efficiency in the future
  • Provide input to the Sales Logistics Team in developing inventory strategies on existing tires, new tires, and tires phasing out
  • Track inventory levels across all warehouses by article number and develop reporting
  • In addition, perform the tasks that the manager eventually asks to do.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related area preferred
  • Basic MS-Office skills required (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Analytical Skills required
  • Up to 3 years of demand planning or sales & distribution support experience preferred
