**Job Description:** **Segment:** Snacking **Location:** Can be based from UK, US, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium or Poland **Type:** Full-time permanent Global x-segment leadership of the Demand Planning Capability, as part of the Mars Supply Excellence for Supply Chain programme and the associated Supply Chain digital technology elements. This covers the development, initial deployment, embedding and continuous improvement phases, delivering a step change in our demand planning capabilities and accelerating our supply chain performance. **What will be your key responsibilities?** Own and lead the development, with a group of subject matter experts and MarsU, of the demand planning content, capability standards, training materials, and assessment tools, ensuring quality, rigour and engagement. This results in a clearly defined set of process definitions and sub-processes as well as layout flow of tasks and how they connect to each other over time (daily, weekly, period), plus clear associate capability profiles across the various demand planning roles in the organization. + Support deployment through regional SME teams, ensuring regional teams have the knowledge and skills to deploy standards, training, digital tools and assessments. + Govern functional content, standards and digital technology; prioritize continuous improvement and ensure connectivity with adjacent MSE capabilities to deliver end-to-end consistency and integration. + Define interfaces and drumbeat with adjacent functional areas, including key information sources, key customers (who gets what out of demand planning) and communication templates. + Lead with Mars Digital Technologies developments and sprints to ensure necessary digital capabilities are proven and ready to deploy; act as business product owner for digital products supporting this capability. + Define relevant meeting SIPOCs, including tools for in-process measurement. + Ensure content and standards are benchmarked externally to close gaps vs competition and build competitive advantage. + Lead global functional communities of practice with regional SMEs; support development, deployment and embedding activities; monitor health of regional and local expert roles. + Define the framework to assess successful embedding of capability through audit and capability assessments, including KPIs and tools. + Develop KPIs and set up KPI tracking/dashboard with Digital Technologies; own process governance, process adherence tracking and process health checks. **What are we looking for?** + Well-networked leader with a track record of building effective collaborative relationships (internally and externally) and experience running virtual teams. + Strong supply chain functional knowledge in one or more capability areas, or directly related areas. + Extensive operational experience (5+ years) mastering demand planning processes and sub-processes. + Ability to influence and motivate at all levels; excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Digitally savvy with strong learning agility across processes and systems. + Well-developed project management and planning skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. + Strong analytical capabilities; able to identify issues, align on resolution and implement change. + Preferred: experience with design thinking/creative problem solving, and experience with S&OP in addition to demand planning; experience with capability building and training of others. + Deep knowledge and experience in supply chain planning and related areas. + Proven track record of managing operations and driving improvement programs in the supply chain. **What can you expect from Mars?** + Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles. + Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today. + A strong focus on learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University. + An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
