Essential Functions:

- Serves as the leader and functional owner of the development and refinement of short and long-term forecast plans.
- Develops demand forecasts (volume and value) at multiple levels of aggregation for a 24-month time horizon as part of the monthly process.
- Reviews historical sales trends, consumption data, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, refine statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Interacts with sales, category management and finance to understand and align on demand forecast drivers. Coordinates cross-functional discussions to document and challenge Demand Plan assumptions and refine the forecast.
- Utilizes a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain and align on accurate information to be used for demand forecasts.
- Facilitates and continuously improves on the overall Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align on a monthly unconstrained demand forecast including highlighting risks and opportunities in the locked demand forecast.
- Owns and manages the Demand planning systems and tools.
- Prepares and maintains relevant reports pertaining to demand planning – forecast analysis, accuracy and bias performance reports.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Demand Planners to support business forecasting for GSC (Global Supply Chain) and USVA (US Value Added).
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and succession planning in the Demand Planning function.
- Regularly works onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $120,000 to $140,000.

Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ experience and progressive growth in forecasting, planning, budgeting and statistical analysis in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Mathematics or relevant coursework and work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, typically 2 years of prior supervisory or people leadership experience.
- Must enjoy and be proficient in working with numbers, scenario analytics, and mining for insights, and have demonstrated planning, analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience using qualitative and quantitative research to guide sound business decisions.
Preferred Education & Experiences:
- Master’s Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Mathematics or relevant coursework and work experience.
- Hands on experience working in popular Demand Planning tools (ERP and Planning systems (SAP/IBP; Logility; O9, Kinaxis, John Gault, etc.)

- Ability to think strategically and broadly about the business while also fully understanding the details, workflows, systems, and near-term issues facing the department and cooperative.
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience, as well as being confident in high-profile communications, including presentation skills and group facilitation.
- Ability to develop strong rapport at all levels of the organization to build collaboration and alignment cross-functionally and influence up to senior leadership.

Work Environment:
This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
