Covenant Aviation Security (CAS) is seeking a Quality Assurance & Compliance Specialist to support aviation security operations at Denver International Airport (DEN). The Quality Assurance & Compliance Specialist is responsible for improving operational performance by conducting quality assurance assessments, post observations, covert testing, and hands-on coaching throughout Denver International Airport (DEN). This position serves as an operational resource focused on identifying performance gaps, providing immediate corrective instruction, reinforcing proper procedures, and ensuring Security Officers consistently perform assigned duties in accordance with TSA regulations, airport requirements, client expectations, post orders, and Covenant Aviation Security policies. Unlike a traditional audit role, success in this position is measured by not only identifying compliance issues, but by actively correcting deficiencies through real-time coaching, mentoring, and follow-up training to ensure lasting performance improvement across all shifts.

Employment Compensation & Benefits
Covenant Aviation Security offers a competitive compensation package, with a targeted hourly rate of $26-$30 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and contract requirements.

Essential Functions
- Conduct quality assurance inspections, observations, and performance assessments of Security Officers assigned throughout DEN.
- Evaluate employee compliance with TSA regulations, post orders, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client requirements, and Covenant policies.
- Perform covert testing and operational audits to verify consistency and compliance.
- Provide immediate coaching and corrective instruction whenever deficiencies are identified.
- Reinforce proper procedures through hands-on demonstration and follow-up training until performance expectations are consistently achieved.
- Recognize and reinforce positive performance and best practices.
- Track, document, and communicate quality assurance findings, coaching activities, corrective actions, and improvement trends.
- Analyze audit results to identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements.
- Partner closely with Operations, Training, and HR leadership to improve overall operational performance.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and conduct follow-up assessments to verify sustained improvement.
- Maintain current knowledge of TSA regulations, airport security requirements, post orders, and company policies.
- Complete reports and documentation accurately and timely.
- Perform Security Officer duties when necessary to demonstrate proper procedures or support operational needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Possess a valid Colorado Driver's License
- Must obtain and maintain all required airport badges, clearances, and credentials.
- Possess or obtain a valid City and County of Denver Security Guard License.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in security, loss prevention, aviation security, or a closely related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience at a Part 1542 regulated airport.
- Working knowledge of TSA regulations, airport security operations, and compliance standards.
- Must be available to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule across all operational shifts, including days, swing, and overnight shifts, to conduct quality assurance observations, coaching, and compliance activities. Weekend, holiday, and extended hour availability is required as operational needs dictate.
- Ability to observe operational performance, identify deficiencies, and provide effective coaching and corrective instruction.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Must successfully pass all required background investigations.
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Aviation Management, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience conducting audits, quality assurance reviews, inspections, or compliance assessments.
- Experience delivering classroom or hands-on operational training.
- Supervisory or leadership experience within aviation security.

Physical Demands
- May be required to climb inside and bend under vehicles for vehicle inspections (example, construction dump trucks, etc.).
- Physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing all duties required for their assigned post/duties.
- Capable of performing normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion, such as standing or walking/ patrolling for entire shift(s), climbing stairs, running and self-defense.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout airport facilities for extended periods.
- Frequently required to climb stairs and travel between terminals, checkpoints, offices, and operational locations.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment
This position operates throughout Denver International Airport in both office and operational environments. Responsibilities require extensive movement throughout terminals, security checkpoints indoors & outdoors, perimeter gates, and other secured airport locations. Work may be performed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, aircraft noise, moving vehicles, and other active airport operations. This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work rotating, non-traditional hours, including days, swing, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays, to ensure consistent quality assurance coverage across all operational shifts.
