Covenant Aviation Security (CAS) is seeking a Security Supervisor to provide front-line leadership for airport security operations at Denver International Airport (DEN). The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising Security Officers during assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with TSA regulations, airport security requirements, client standards, and company policies. This position oversees daily operations, responds to incidents, coaches employees, completes required documentation, and promotes a professional, safety-focused work environment while ensuring the highest level of customer service and security.

Employment Compensation & Benefits
Covenant Aviation Security offers a competitive compensation package, with a starting hourly rate of $26.50 per hour.

Essential Functions
Operational Leadership
- Supervise Security Officers during assigned shifts and ensure all security duties are completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor employee performance to ensure compliance with TSA regulations, airport requirements, client directives, post orders, and company policies.
- Operate company vehicles to conduct post inspections, respond to incidents, support security operations, and perform other supervisory duties throughout the airport.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Security Officers through ongoing feedback and performance observations.
- Assist with on-the-job training and operational instruction as assigned.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete and review all required documentation, including:
- Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
- Incident Reports
- Employee Statements
- Patrol Logs
- Post Logs
- Shift Rosters
- Other operational documentation
- Make staffing adjustments to meet operational requirements.
- Communicate shift activity, incidents, staffing concerns, and operational updates to management and incoming supervisors.
- Ensure required reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Maintain working knowledge of all security posts and perform Security Officer duties when operationally necessary.

- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a regulated security environment OR two (2) years of supervisory experience at a Part 1542 regulated airport.
- Current Covenant Aviation Security employees may also be considered based on internal experience and qualifications.
- Security-related education may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience when applicable.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be eligible to operate company vehicles in accordance with Covenant Aviation Security's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) standards.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required airport badges, clearances, and credentials.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Must present a professional appearance and maintain company appearance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, or a closely related field.
- Previous leadership experience in aviation security.
- Experience working in a Part 1542 regulated airport environment.
- Experience supervising high-volume operational teams.
- Knowledge of TSA regulations and airport security operations.

Physical Demands
- May require standing, sitting, walking for various, possibly extended periods of time.
- May be required to climb inside and bend under vehicles for vehicle inspections (example, construction dump trucks, etc.).
- Physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing all duties required for their assigned post/duties.
- Capable of performing normal or emergency duties requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion, such as standing or walking/ patrolling for entire shift(s), climbing stairs, running and self-defense.

Work Environment
- Work is performed throughout Denver International Airport in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Regular exposure to varying weather conditions including snow, rain, wind, heat, cold, and rapidly changing Colorado weather.
- May be required to stand, walk, patrol, climb stairs, and remain on foot for extended periods.
- May work days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and rotating shifts based on operational needs.
- Must respond quickly to emergencies and security incidents.
