About the Role:
Join Universal Dentistry as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. We are excited to welcome a dedicated individual to our team in Abington, PA, who shares our passion for patient care and excellence.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for patient use.
  • Must be X-ray Certified
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
  • Ensure the dental office is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dental assisting role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and instruments.
  • X-ray certification in Pennsylvania
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in dental software Dentrix.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
