Your Role: As a Dental Assistant at the Good Shepherd, you will be an integral part of our patient care team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Exceptional Customer Service: Greet patients, address concerns, and guide them between waiting rooms and operatories.
- Patient Care within Scope of Practice: Take and develop dental x-rays, tend to patient needs, assist the dentist during procedures, and update patient records including medications and medical history.
- Operatory / Treatment Preparation: Sanitize and prepare operatories between patient encounters and set up instruments and equipment for treatments.
- Sterilization / Instrument Care Management: Sanitize and sterilize equipment and instruments as appropriate.
- EHR Documentation: Accurately document patient information and procedures in electronic health records.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Registered Dental Assistant license in the State of Oklahoma.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral.
