Dental Assistant

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our thriving pediatric dental practice for a full-time position at Castle Rock Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during restorative procedures.
• \n
• Complete coronal polishing, fluoride treatment, and sealants.
• \n
• Assist the dentist during examinations, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• \n
• Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• \n
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• \n
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• \n
• Create a comfortable environment for young patients.
• \n

Qualifications:

• \n
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred (but not required).
• \n
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• \n
• A compassionate demeanor towards patients, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
