Our team is growing, and we are looking to add a Full Time Dental Assistant to our long-standing team in Centreville.

Job Duties May Include:

  • Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory
  • Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist
  • Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures
  • Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures
  • Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist
  • Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed
  • Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory
  • Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments
  • Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment
  • Take digital radiographs
  • Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
  • Reliable and committed to patient care
  • Self-motivated and hard-working
  • Team culture oriented and eager to continue to develop professionally / personally

Hours:

  • Monday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
