Our team is growing, and we are looking to add a Full Time Dental Assistant to our long-standing team in Centreville.

Job Duties May Include:
- Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory
- Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist
- Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures
- Review the health history, make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures
- Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist
- Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed
- Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory
- Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments
- Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment
- Take digital radiographs
- Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, referral, emergency medicine, implants, perio program and emergency treatment
Candidate Requirements:
- 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Reliable and committed to patient care
- Self-motivated and hard-working
- Team culture oriented and eager to continue to develop professionally / personally
Hours:
- Monday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
