The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Alturas, CA to find a dedicated Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a busy outpatient clinic team. This full-time, benefits-eligible opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
Under the direction of the Clinic Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting daily clinical operations by assisting providers, delivering quality patient care, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and helping ensure the efficient flow of the clinic.

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Assist with dental procedures, including extractions and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare dental materials and maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workspace
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures
- Pull, file, and maintain patient charts, X-rays, and required documentation
- Perform dental dressings, impressions, and other duties as directed by the dentist
- Sterilize instruments and ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for use
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control protocols
- Attend required CPR and safety training
- RDA candidates will also perform additional responsibilities, including select supervisory duties
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license (for RDA applicants)
- Previous dental healthcare experience & training highly preferred
