Dental Assistant

Please read this entire ad posting. We do need some experience expecially with intraoral scanning, x rays and working with computers. This job is full time, 4 days per week and salary is dependent on your skills. Minimum of 32 hours a week and never more than 40 hours or weekends.

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated, dependable, skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive dental practice that is based on excellence and sound principles. Duties:

_ Show up to work on time, and dependably.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays, digitally only

Intraoral scanning is a must.

-Take CBCT, panoramics, oral photos, intraoral digital scans and other modern, high end procedures. Training on this is available.
- Perform dental charting and documentation

Create and manage dental crown temporaries

Use iOS scanning and CBCT

improve and learn other advanced procedures like oral surgery, dental implants, etc...
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order as needed
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
- Proficiency in dental software systems (e.g., Open Dental)
- Familiarity with dental terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
