We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is willing to make a difference in the growth of our office. Our office has shown a consistent and rapid growth in General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Implants. We use the newest technology and also make our own crowns and bridges. Our goal is to build a strong relationship with employees and patients based on dedication and loyalty.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understands and works to ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC regulations.
Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
Sterilizes , label, and record instruments for dental procedures.
Maintains infection control areas and reports to ensure control standards are met.
Clean and prepare rooms for dental procedures
Instruct patients and keep workflow efficiently. Help patients as requested by dentist and administration.
Input patient's clinical data on dental software on a professional level, making sure HIPAA regulations are followed
Assists dentists and hygienists in procedures, projects, and campaigns
Assists other areas with special projects
Qualifications:
Must speak Portuguese AND English
Certification in Dental Assisting is not required but will be considered a plus.
Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to spend prolonged hours standing to perform duties, and to be exposed to the chemicals and materials necessary to the sterilization, cleaning process, and dental procedures.
On-the-job training period and salary will vary depending on candidate experience and performance.
