Job Summary

Rogers Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and motivated Implant Dental Assistant / EFDA to join our dental team in Anderson, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with implant procedures and be a licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can provide exceptional chairside support and ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during implant surgeries and other dental procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment
• Take and process dental radiographs as needed
• Provide patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Perform expanded functions as permitted by state law and licensure
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
• Coordinate with the dental team to optimize patient flow and care quality

Qualifications

• Current EFDA license or certification in the state of Ohio
• Proven experience assisting with dental implant procedures required
• Strong knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• CPR certification is preferred
