Position Overview
As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist and clinical team while helping deliver an outstanding patient experience. We value
initiative, anticipation, and a willingness to learn above all else. While previous experience or formal training in dental assisting is important,
we place greater value on motivation, strong customer service skills, and being a great teammate.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable and cared for
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilized instruments
- Review treatment plans and answer patient questions
- Take and record medical history and vital signs
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols
- Assist with scheduling and patient checkout as needed
- Anticipate clinical and patient needs to keep the day running smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous experience or formal training in dental assisting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable with computers and data entry
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player
