Position Overview


We’re looking for a detail-oriented, personable, and motivated Front Office Team Member who also has chairside assisting experience. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and hands-on clinical involvement. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations—from welcoming patients and coordinating treatment to assisting chairside when needed.


Key Responsibilities


Assisting Duties:


  • Assist the dentist during procedures, including implant and restorative treatments.
  • Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize operatories and instruments.
  • Take digital x-rays, intraoral scans, and photos when needed.
  • Support lab case management and digital workflows.
  • Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort.

Front Office Duties:


  • Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments in Open Dental.
  • Verify insurance, collect copays, and prepare treatment estimates.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and recall/confirmation systems.
  • Coordinate new patient intake, consent forms, and financial arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA protocols.

Qualifications


  • Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience (hybrid assisting experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Open Dental (required).
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance coordination.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Warm, professional, and team-oriented demeanor.
  • X-ray license and DA or RDA certification (preferred but not required).
