Dental Assistant (DA) Full-Time

Flossmoor, IL

The Center for Dental Excellence is seeking a skilled and compassionate full time Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. The Center for Dental Excellence: 19615 Governors Highway Flossmoor, IL

Office Hours: (Schedule will be 30-40 hours within these office hours)

• Monday 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
• Tuesday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Wednesday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Friday 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
• Saturday 7:30 am - 2:00 pm (2 per month)

Our dedicated team includes:

• 6 General Dentists
• 5 Specialists
• One clinical supervisor
• One administrative supervisor
• 6 Registered Dental Hygienists (a few temps on call)
• 6 Dental Assistants

Compensation:

• $21-$23 per hour (Commensurate with Experience)

Requirements:

• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
