Position Overview:


As a Dental Assistant at Jupiter Dentistry, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Preparation: Sterilizing instruments, setting up treatment rooms, and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for dental procedures.
  • Assisting the Dentist: Handing instruments, suctioning, and providing support during dental procedures.
  • Patient Care: Taking and recording vital signs, medical history, and dental charting.
  • Dental Receptionist Duties: Scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records as needed.
  • Patient Education: Educating patients on dental treatments, proper oral hygiene techniques, and post-treatment care instructions.
  • Compliance: Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Infection Control: Adhering to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Laboratory Support: Assisting with tasks like pouring models, fabricating temporary crowns, and managing lab cases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in dental practice management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and team members.
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and maintain detailed medical history.
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy and procedures.
  • Understanding of infection control protocols and safety measures.
