Role Description The Dental Assistant role at Dental Care Alliance Towncare Dental Partnership is a full-time, on-site position based in Kendall, FL. The Dental Assistant will support dentists and hygienists during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, organizing instruments, and assisting chairside with exams, cleanings, and restorative treatments. Daily responsibilities include taking and processing x-rays, maintaining accurate patient records, explaining post-treatment instructions, and supporting patient comfort before, during, and after procedures. The role also involves instrument sterilization, maintaining infection control standards, managing supply inventory, and ensuring equipment is clean and ready for use. The Dental Assistant collaborates closely with the clinical and front-office teams to help maintain smooth patient flow and a positive experience in the practice.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting and a strong understanding of chairside support and clinical workflows.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care, with a focus on patient comfort, education, and routine preventive treatments.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Dentistry and familiarity with common dental procedures and terminology.

  • Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization and infection control, including proper handling and processing of instruments.

  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • \n
  • Current dental assistant certification or licensure (as required by Florida regulations) is beneficial.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and patient service.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
