You can fully utilize your  Dental Assistant skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists

 

Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

Pay Range: $20.00 to -$25.00  per/hour (based on experience and qualifications ) 

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Assists the doctor in procedures 

• Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays 
• Prophy teeth 
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene 
• Chart and treatment plan with doctor 
• Sterilizes instruments 

• Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment 
• Take IO's 
• Charting 
• Sealants, if applicable 

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:  

• Certification from a dental college for Dental Assistant

 

Certificates, Licenses,

• X-Ray Certification 

• Coronal Polish Certification 
• Current BLS certification
• Infection Control Certification
• California Dental Pactice Act
