Qualifications

To be eligible for a career at Heartland Dental, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environment
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification (if required under the state dental practice act)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment

Preferred Experience

We also prefer candidates with the following experience:

  • Dentrix or other dental software experience
  • Dental assisting school certification
