Dental Assistant
Location: Manhattan Compensation: $20 - 25 per hour Patient Mix: PPO / FFS Practice Type: Multi Specialty Schedule: Full Time Benefits Eligibility: Employees regularly scheduled to work full time will be eligible for benefits.
About the Role
United Dental Corporation is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team in the vibrant Upper East Side area.
We are looking for a dependable, patient-focused professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.
What You'll Do
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
Sterilize and maintain clinical equipment
Take dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations
Support patient flow and provider efficiency
Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Provide an outstanding patient experience from check-in to check-out
Requirements
Active Dental Assistant Certification or Registration
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Dental radiology certification (if required by state)
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred
EFDA Certification (where applicable)
Coronal Polishing Certification
Sealant Certification
Experience with digital radiography
Experience with dental software and electronic health records
Experience in PPO, Fee-for-Service, and/or Medicaid environments
Bilingual skills (if applicable to market)
