Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the endodontist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, explaining procedures and answering any questions to alleviate concerns.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the endodontist.
• Perform dental charting and record patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures, anticipating the endodontist's needs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
• Manage inventory and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure seamless workflow.
• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Continuously enhance skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
