About the Role:
Join Mur-len Family Dentistry as a Dental Assistant in Olathe, KS, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to support our dental team and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to industry standards.
  • Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote healthy habits.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions and preparing materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with billing and insurance claims as needed to support the administrative team.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant or in a similar healthcare role is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it upon hire.
