Dental Assistant – Oral Surgery | Ashland, OR

Gentle Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to support our Oral Surgeon at our Ashland practice. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates, making this a great opportunity whether you're looking for a consistent full-time schedule or want to add surgical days to your current schedule.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll work closely alongside our Oral Surgeon and clinical team, helping create a smooth, comfortable experience for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Oral Surgery assisting experience is preferred, but we're also interested in experienced Dental Assistants who are excited about expanding their surgical skills.

Schedule

Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available

Full-time schedule: Tuesday–Friday

Part-time candidates are also encouraged to apply. We are happy to discuss schedule availability and find a consistent schedule that works for both you and the practice.

Pay

$30.00–$32.00 per hour, DOE

Starting pay may increase based on experience and additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Dental Assisting experience
• Oral Surgery assisting experience preferred
• Certificate from a Dental Assisting Program
• Valid healthcare provider CPR/BLS certification

Qualifications That May Increase Starting Pay

• Oral Surgery or specialty assisting experience
• EFDA certification
• X-Ray certification
• Bilingual Spanish
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), when applicable
