About the Role:
Join the LAOFS team and assist in providing world class patient care in a modern, clean, and collaborative environment.
Looking for assistants who are patient obsessed and absolutely love providing supreme service to both surgeon and patients!
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeon. Experience in IV sedation, wisdom teeth, dental implants strongly recommended
- Sterilize and prepare surgical armamentarium
- Monitor vitals, fill out anesthesia flow sheets
- Provide post op instructions for patients
- Schedule follow up appointments
- Comply with safety and infection control
- Be able to answer patient questions
- Be willing to learn!!!
- Have a great attitude in the face of mistakes
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assisting certification preferred.
- Previous experience as an oral surgery assistant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. We use Sensei Cloud.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
