Dental Assistant

Cornerstone Dental Health is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant/Floater to join our growing team in Quincy, IL. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Schedule

• Full-Time | Monday–Friday
• Office Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour, based on experience

Position Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant/Floater, you will support both clinical and front office operations, including:

• Greeting patients and serving as a welcoming point of contact
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Checking patients in and out efficiently
• Assisting with patient care coordination and communication
• Managing patient records accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Processing patient payments, insurance verification, and claims assistance
• Providing chairside dental assisting support
• Performing sterilization and infection control duties, including maintenance of equipment such as ultrasonic cleaners, Statim units, autoclaves, and vacuum systems
• Supporting daily administrative and operational tasks as needed
• Utilizing strong computer, phone, and customer service skills to enhance the patient experience
