As a Registered Dental Assistant, you'll work alongside our dentists and dental hygienists to provide exceptional dental care, educate patients, and help create healthy smiles throughout our communities.
What You'll Do
As a valued member of our dental team, you will:
- Assist dentists and dental hygienists during patient procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with Iowa regulations
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Maintain dental equipment and operatory supplies
- Support patient scheduling, charting, documentation, and record accuracy
- Provide outstanding customer service while helping patients feel comfortable and informed
- Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Assist with administrative duties, including prior authorizations and patient communication
- Support quality improvement initiatives and patient-centered care
- Travel between Infinity Health locations as needed to support patient care
What We're Looking For
- Registered or Certified Dental Assistant (Required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset
- Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
