Dental Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Assistant with an interest in both clinical and front office responsibilities to join our dedicated team. In this dual-role position, you'll support our providers during treatment, help deliver exceptional patient care, and assist with front office responsibilities to ensure the practice runs smoothly. This is a great opportunity to expand your skills in a professional, patient-focused endodontic practice. We welcome candidates with an interest in both clinical and front office duties, and we're happy to train the right individual, including supporting Dental Assistant certification. 

 

Schedule: Part Time, Monday - Thursday 11am-5pm

Responsibilities:
  • Provide chairside clinical support by assisting the doctor during procedures, charting, educating patients, and preparing and cleaning operatories.
  • Welcome patients and create a positive, professional experience from check-in through check-out.
  • Schedule appointments, answer phones, verify insurance, collect payments, and assist with other front office administrative tasks.
  • Take and process dental X-rays.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Complete sterilization and infection control procedures for instruments and operatories.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, patient confidentiality, and workplace regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to support the efficient operation of the practice.
  • Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical setting
