We are a busy, patient-focused dental office looking for a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates and are willing to train the right person with a great attitude and strong work ethic.


Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping create a smooth, comfortable experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:


  • Welcome and seat patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience 
  • Prepare patients for treatments and procedures 
  • Set up and organize instruments, equipment, and materials 
  • Assist the dentist with 4-handed dentistry 
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments according to OSHA and office protocols 
  • Provide patients with oral hygiene and post-operative instructions 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory 
  • Perform lab tasks as needed 
  • Assist with scheduling and maintaining accurate patient records 
  • Support front desk duties and basic payment processing when needed 
Qualifications:

Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate 

  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures 
  • Understanding of infection control and safety protocols 
  • Ability to perform expanded duties (e.g., coronal polishing) is a plus 
  • Strong computer and organizational skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume setting 
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and professional 
  • High school diploma required; dental assisting certification or EFDA is a plus
