Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Lead and support back-office daily operations to ensure efficiency and flow
- Train, coach, and mentor dental assistants on clinical protocols and best practices
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
- Oversee operatory setup/breakdown and instrument sterilization
- Take and review diagnostic X-rays as needed
- Manage clinical supply inventory and ordering within budget guidelines
- Support schedule flow to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
- Provide patient education and ensure a high-quality patient experience
Schedule:
- Monday: 9:45 AM - 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: OFF (sometimes this will need to be flexible if doctor opens schedule)
- Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM
- Every Other Saturday: 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience required
- Proficiency with iTero or similar scanners a plus
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred
- Skilled in making temporaries and assisting in restorative procedures
- Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with reliable transportation
- Friendly, energetic personality and a true team player
