Dental Assistant (Entry-Level)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Shift: 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Position Overview

A busy and patient-focused dental office is seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the dental field-no prior experience required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during exams, cleanings, and procedures
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after patients
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring a comfortable experience
• Take and record basic patient information
• Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and answering phones
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish required
• No prior dental experience required; willing to train
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Reliable and team-oriented

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
