Dental Assistant

General Overview

We are looking to add to our talented team of dental assistants!

The mission at Floss is to provide honest, exceptional care to fulfill our patients' needs while making a positive impact on our community. We are seeking someone with a great attitude, a passion for dentistry, motivation to learn and grow in their profession, excellent clinical skills, and compassion for their patients.

We are a fun, upbeat office, with two established dental assistants in place. We utilize the latest technology including Cerec Primescan, iTero, 3D printing, diode lasers, and more. Compensation: $27-$35 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Flexible 4 day per week schedule , no WEEKENDS!

• Monday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Wednesday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday Off

Responsibilities

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Invisalign - photographs, attachments,
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, is preferred.
