What will you be doing?
Assist the main dental assistant (training provided)
- Assist in setting up rooms, doing sterilization, taking X-rays and CBCTs
- Assist the dentist (chairside)
- Communicating with materials/equipment vendors etc.
- Assist in buying materials, mailing documents, etc.
- Assist in documentation
Assist front desk activities (training provided), such as
- Help answering overflow of calls and texts
- Help scheduling appointments, collecting payments, entering payments, presenting treatments
- Assist in other secretarial tasks (using excel, words, etc.)
- Assist in documentation
What are we looking for?
- Fully bilingual communication (verbal and written in English and Spanish)
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking abilities and detailed oriented (accuracy very important)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Words, etc.
- A team player with good references (trustworthy, reliable, energetic, fast-learner)
- A motivated individual who brings professionalism, positive energy
- Top-notch customer service skills
- Familiarity with compliance of HIPPA, OSHA and infection control
- Previous dental office experience desired (but not necessary)
