Dental Assistant - Sign on Bonus
Advanced Endodontic Specialists
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dedicated endodontic team. In this role, you will work closely with our endodontist to provide exceptional patient care while ensuring the efficient flow of clinical operations. Responsibilities include preparing patients, treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for procedures; assisting the endodontist during treatment; documenting patient information and charting; taking digital radiographs and CBCT scans; and maintaining a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment through proper instrument processing and operatory sterilization.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Thurs 7:45AM - 5PM, Friday 7:45AM - 2PM
Responsibilities:
Essential duties may include any of the following tasks, skills, and other characteristics. The following list is not intended as a comprehensive list, but rather to provide representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities.
- Greet patients in the waiting area and escort them to the operatory.
- Assist the doctor in the administration of treatment as required or directed by the doctor.
- Review the daily schedule and prepare the operatory for patient treatment using the correct protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control, exposure control and safety procedures.
- Review the patients’ health history and document chart entries in an efficient & timely manner. Prepare treatment reports and documents for referring dentists.
- Monitor patient flow and assist other team members in assuring that all patient records and documents are properly and accurately completed and filed.
- Be familiar with dental terminology, materials, medications and instruments used during endodontic procedures.
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.
- Place patient care calls and other necessary telephone calls in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Assist the dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies.
- Assume responsibility for other expanded duties and responsibilities that may be delegated by the doctor.

Qualifications:
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant and Dental Radiology certifications in accordance with state regulations and practice standards
- 3+ years of Dental Assisting experience
