Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides healthcare services to some of the area's most vulnerable populations.
With the opportunity of growth expansion of dental services at the Health Clinic at Springfield High School in August of this year, the organization is looking for a Dental Assistant to join the Dental Team. Individuals will be responsible for assisting the Dental Practice Manager and Pediatric Dentist in the care and treatment of the patients. Perform duties independently and other duties according to certification authorization.

Position Info:
Position Title: Dental Assistant.
Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio located in the Health Clinic at Springfield High School.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Hourly position. Hourly rate range is $17.00/hour to $24.00/hour depending on experience.
Work Hours: Monday & Wednesday 9:00AM to 5:00PM - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 7:30AM to 3:00PM.
Education Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, customers and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable sin standardized situations.
Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
